Happy 10 Year Anniversary!
Ten years! It’s incredible that it has been ten years that we have been in business. Has it been easy? Absolutely not! We look back and wonder how did we survive the first year? What has pushed us to be open this long? Heart, passion, desire to bring a dream to life. Having a strong partnership that believe in one another and never let the other give up no matter how difficult times become. We have learned so much along the way and continue to learn everyday.
We have to thank everyone that has been part of the studio, whether it was for a very short period of time or has stuck with us since the very beginning. Every single person that has entered has taught us a lesson. Good or bad, they were lessons that we will truly appreciate because it has helped us grow and become a better business. Countless moments we all shared together with laughter, tears, joy, frustrations, anger, loss, have been memories that we will always cherish.
Our wonderful clients that have followed us on this journey as well, we cannot thank you enough. You have witnessed and been part of the incredible artistic growth our artists have had. They work and study their craft relentlessly to continue improving to put out the best work possible for all their clients. We appreciate you wearing our artists artwork with such pride and never hesitating to recommend our studio every opportunity you get. Lets not forget those clients that helped us stay a float during the pandemic, there are no words to express our gratitude.
We hope this journey continues for any more years to come. We look forward to making new memories and sharing old ones with everyone that comes into our studio. Happy 10 year anniversary!!!

Back in Business
We are back! We have been given the ok to return today. Thank you to everyone for your patience and cooperation in the rescheduling process. A million thanks for the awesome clients that sent extra funds to put towards their upcoming tattoo to keep us a float through these difficult times. All the artists are excited to get back to work. It has certainly been a very strange time to say the least, but we are so happy that we can all get back to work.
There will be a few restrictions as we are limited to 10 people at the shop at a time. We have divided the artists into two shifts, the morning and afternoon shift. The morning shift will begin from 9:30am-3:30pm. The afternoon shift will be from 3:45pm to closing. By this time a lot of you have been contacted to give you the new time schedule with your artist. You will need to come in alone with a face mask and keep it on at all times. The shop is always kept clean and disinfected after every client therefore this is not a new requirement for us. You will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms and a temperature will be taken when you show up. Please, if you are feeling sick please give us a call to reschedule. Your deposit will not be affected and we will reschedule you two weeks after you are symptom free.
We look forward to see everyone back in the shop! I am sure there will be plenty of conversation’s about this unusual times. We know that these restrictions may be much at times, but we will do the necessary to get everyone back working and most importantly healthy. Once cases in Colorado start to decrease, we are sure the rules and regulations will loosen up. For now we work and make beautiful art again and bring some joy to the darkness we are living in now. See you all soon!

New Beginnings
Hard works pays off, seems like such a cliché thing to say. It is said often for a reason and that reason is, its completely true. After eight years in business we were finally able to open a new location that we can call ours with a clean new logo to go with it as well. We wanted something spacious and modern to allow a pleasant experience for both the client and the artists. Working hard day and night at remodeling the new building we were finally able to open our doors on January 6, 2020.
We wanted to keep the same vibe as the other shop and have an open floor design. This allows the interaction and conversations between the artists and clients. If you have been tattooed at the shop before, you have gotten the “would you rather” question from Josh on several occasions. At lot of the times this would spark up debate, stories, or deep conversations between everyone. When the pain starts to sink in a little distraction is always good.
Creating a comfortable space for the artist was also important while designing the floor plan. Each individual booth is spaced out and equipped with basic artist needs. We are aware that they spend hours on end tattooing in not so comfortable positions, we offer a massage chair, moon pod and comfortable recliners. Along with creating tattoo designs, artists often like to unwind and be creative in other ways such as paint and build. We have an entire open area with different equipment that can be used to get those creative juices flowing.
We are excited to share this new space with current and new clients. We also welcome new artists that are interested in joining the team. We hope to see everyone soon, to new beginnings!

Breast Cancer Awareness Month Interview
As we approach the end of October we would like to remind everyone to do a self breast exam every month and an annual mammogram especially if you have a family history of breast cancer! As many of you know this cause holds a special place in our hearts here at Love N Hate. Every year we try and help anyone that may be looking to get their scars covered from post mastectomy or reconstruction surgery. In helping out and listening to their stories we had three wonderful ladies agree to do an interview with us and let us know about their journey with breast cancer. We would like to share their stories to possibly give anyone courage that might be going through this awful disease now. You can see that interview on our YouTube channel LnH Tattoo Studio (click here) to watch their stories.
We have reached out to different places to offer our services with not much luck. We would love to continue doing this every year and help out more people. If you know of someone that may be interested in having their scars covered or simply getting areola and nipples tattooed please have them reach out to us. If you work for a surgeon that specializes in mastectomies and or breast reconstruction surgery, we would be more than happy to send out our business cards to their office if they are interested in having them available to their patients. Submissions can be sent in directly to our email (scheduling@lnhtattoostudio.com). Thanks again to the wonderful ladies that agreed to be interviewed and shared their stories with us. Give your loved ones an extra tight hug today, in a blink of an eye our lives can instantly change.

STEM Donation
Giovonni (Gabe’s son) was nominated by one of his teachers to get the wonderful opportunity to attend the National Youth Leadership Forum (NYLF): Explore STEM program this summer. He was selected based on his academic potential and interest in the areas of science, technology, engineering and math. This program will provide him with firsthand experiences in these fields. When he received his invitation in the mail he was filled with excitement to have the honor to be part of a great program.
Giovonni is a bright young man that devotes himself in maintaining excellent grades no matter how busy his schedule gets. He is involved in clubs like Mathletics, Chess, and Shakespeare and enjoys attending Chess tournaments every year. On top of brains, he’s also athletic playing sports like Cross Country for his school and competitive soccer for Skyline Soccer Association.
As parents we try everything we can to give our children the best opportunities possible. When it comes to paying high fees for these programs, we think of different ways to come up with the money. From selling candy bars, having bake sales, shoveling snow to the very common raffles. Little did we know that raffles are not legal and are considered gambling. As many of you may have heard Gabe was trying to do just that, a raffle to try and raise money to send his son to this summer program. We were quickly shut down by the City saying they received a phone call from someone letting them know we were holding this raffle and they needed to shut it down. After an overwhelming support that we got from everyone and all the different suggestions on how to raise the money we’ve decided to change things up.
Gabe and the rest of the artist at Love N Hate have decided to donate their time and give back to help Giovonni and possibly other kids raise money to attend this program. Each artist will contribute either a full day session or a predrawing tattoo of their choice. This giveaway will have NO COST and donations will be greatly appreciated. If you would like to enter this giveaway go to our Facebook page for official rules. Entry will start Friday February 8th at noon and end February 10th at 6pm. If you are not interested in entering the giveaway but would like to donate, click here and it will direct you to our PayPal donation page.
We would like to thank everyone for all your support in this matter. Together we can help our future youth be the best they can and not let simple things like negativity or money stand in the way of their future.

Tebow Time Tattoo
As many of us have waited patiently, football season is finally here! We begin a new year with new fantasy football leagues, hoping that our home team wins the super bowl or simply crossing our fingers that our team does better this year. We start having those erratic bets with our friend and family over the games, like the “Tebow Time Tattoo” bet that was done by our very own Josh Lucero. Little did Josh and Juan Contreras the now owner of this lovely tattoo, would ever imagine how this silly tattoo would become the talk all over the internet that year.
We will be interviewing Josh and Juan on their story. We will get the full scoop on how this all started, what the bet was about, how did Josh come up with this design and what happened after it all blew up on the internet. Keep your eye out for this interview, with these two together we could expect a hilarious and fun time.

Love N Hate at Denver Villain Arts Convention
The artist at Love N Hate had a busy weekend at their first tattoo convention. Working along worldwide artists was not only an honor, but, a fun and entertaining experience.
Vendors showcased their best products – tattoo inks in an array of colors, newest machines, unique clothing and jewelry. Creative, artistic products and performances beyond imagination! Always a site to see is human suspension, with their ability to push their mind and bodies against unbearable pain. Not knowing what to expect at the convention, the artist from Love N Hate arrived open minded, taking it all in with amazement.
Tattoo contests were thrilling to enter! Competing against talent from all over the world was the ultimate test. Josh Lucero entered a black and grey photo realism Spiderman he created Friday, June 22nd. Forrest Henderson entered a traditional style of a bear skull, peonies with a stone tip wood arrow through the skull.
Josh was awarded 2nd place in black and grey tattoo of the day. Forrest won 3rd place for best traditional tattoo. We cannot express how proud Love N Hate is of their artists! Their backbreaking work and tedious attention to detail was rightfully rewarded and received with great excitement.
Love N Hate is especially appreciative of all the clients that came to the convention to be our artists’ canvas! We understand that at times it may have felt uncomfortable with the vast amount of people observing art at work.
We are also grateful for our existing clients that attended the tattoo convention! Thank you for showing support and getting the opportunity to demonstrate your own pieces with others.
It was great to see potential new clients who loved that Love N Hate was a local tattoo shop. We hope to see many of those faces at the shop, and soon!
The entire team at Love N Hate worked hard to be part of this convention and as a result, it was completely worth it. Even when at times situations were overwhelming, the team remained committed and the outcome was superb.
This was the shop’s first of many more conventions to come. We look forward to traveling for our next convention, so please, keep an eye out for a Love N Hate appearance at a tattoo convention nearest to your city!
